Mentioned in dispatches from IBM

A while back me and one of the directors at Holiday Extras where I work did a telephone interview with IBM arranged through Triton about the migration we did a while back from DB2 on HP-UX to DB2 on VM’s. It was an interesting experience and we did not have too many revisions and it is now published you can read it here.

Thats about the long and the short of this post, all that is left is to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and hope you dont get too many OOH calls.

First DB2 article published

Just a short piece to tell you all the good news, I am now a “published blogger”!!

I wrote an article for a DB2 consultancy called Triton has been up on their site “Confessions of a DB2 Geek” for a week now.  The article I wrote is called “To reorganise or not to reorganise“.

It builds on the work that I have all ready done on this blog on reorganisation and it kind of summarises it all, with a few shameless plugs for this blog, and for the company that I work for.

Hopefully it will not be the last I do for them, and possibly other people. So I will keep you posted and see how it goes.
